Message To Professing Christians Who Belong To Any Of These Apostate DenominationsTherefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you." 2 Corinthians 6:17 If you are a member of any of the organizations listed on "The Acts of the Apostates Index?, you may be a bit offended or even angered. That is understandable. But it shouldn't be anger toward this ministry. It is not our reporting of the apostasy that should offend you. The apostasy ITSELF should offend and anger you. No, if you are angry or offended, you should direct those emotions toward the leaders of your denomination. They are the offenders. They have destroyed your "church" and made a mockery of any ministry efforts that take place under the banner of your denominational name. Your membership in these denominations is hard to justify, if you are truly a believer in Jesus Christ. But we are constantly given misguided explanations for remaining in these apostate organizations. Before writing a letter to us, please read our answers to explanations which have been provided to us by professing Christians who remain in apostate denominations. Some prayerfully have decided to leave these organizations and join themselves to non-denominational local churches, after having read the following information and realizing that there is, in reality, no good excuse for ignoring God's command to leave apostate religious sects, such as we are speaking of in The Acts of the Apostates Index. "I Believe God Wants Me To Stay And Be A Light" This statement may hold some weight inside a local church whose leadership is on the wrong track, but whose membership remains committed to the word of God. But applying this attitude while financially supporting and working in support of an apostate denomination is never justified. God says, "Come out" He will not contradict Himself and tell you to, "Stay IN." "Other Denominations Have Been Regained From Apostasy" Some will point to the Southern Baptist Convention and say, "That denomination was lost to the liberals and the conservatives (Bible believing Christians) regained control and purged the Convention of apostates." But this is just not the case. It is true that a large number of Southern Baptists in leadership positions had gone into apostasy. The whole independent Baptist movement was born when fundamental, Bible believing Baptists left the SBC (as well as the Northern/National/American Baptist Conventions) because of the infection of liberalism in the Convention, many of it's churches and most of it's larger colleges and universities. However, the larger number of SBC leaders, pastors and the rank-and-file membership remained a solid majority who simply did not take liberalism seriously and took very little part in Convention politics, until the 1970's. Key leadership positions went to liberals, simply because good people did nothing. Colleges were filled with unbelievers teaching evolution in biology departments and higher criticism in theology departments. And so, we believe that this is a good example as to why Bible believing, Spirit-filled evangelicals must remain active, zealous, informed and militant in the local church and any other organizations of which they support with their participation or finances. But the information that we have regarding the "clergy and laity" of these ecclesiastical monstrosities listed in "The Acts of the Apostates Index" seems to clearly demonstrate that the majority of both leadership and the rank-and-file membership is largely LOST and without a new birth experience (in which a person is born again and baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ by repentant faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.) The Southern Baptist Convention was in danger of being lost. The organizations listed on the AOA Index are beyond saving. We would agree that the saddest element of seeing a denomination fall into apostasy is the fact that untold millions are left in ignorance and are susceptible to believing the lies and being damned. But your staying and financially supporting an otherwise Satanic work will not help this matter. "But, who will witness to those others that remain?" As a matter of fact, we must testify that we have seen the powerful display of God's Spirit only AFTER His children are obedient and leave apostasy. The facts tell the story. These apostate denominations are rotting on the vine. Their numbers dwindle. And those who do enter are usually already committed liberals who seek churches devoid of Biblical truth. These apostate organizations are nests and the new flock that comes to roost are simply apostates who want a little "religion" to make them feel comfortable in their sin. On the other hand, Spirit-filled Bible believing, non-denominational and independent local churches are growing all over the world. Many of the members of these churches testify of how life-changing it was for them to leave their old, dead denomination and join themselves to a local, New Testament body of believers where the love, study, prayer, praise and outreach were REAL and anointed of God. In the meantime, you should pray for those left behind in the apostate denominations. Share good materials with them and try to feed them the word of God throughout the week. Let them see the fire in your soul and the joy in your heat. Be CONTAGIOUS and you will find these loved ones come out of the apostasy and into the family of God!!
