The False Jesus of the New Bible TranslationsSatan failed in his efforts to kill the Jews before they could bring forth the Messiah. He also failed in his efforts to destroy Jesus while on earth as Jesus died but was resurrected.Since then, Satan has attempted to destroy the TESTIMONY of Jesus as found in the Bible so that the world will embrace a false idea about who Jesus was. This will have prepared the world to receive a false Christ, known as Antichrist, once he appears on the scene sometime after true Christians have been Raptured (snatched away from Earth). We will see that Satan is accomplishing his task in these last days, just in time for the arrival of Antichrist. And he is using the new translations to accomplish the task.
Messiah: God Manifest In The FleshA simple look at what the Bible says about Jesus shows us clearly that He is the prophesied Messiah, "God with us", of Isaiah 7:14. When you think of Jesus, you should immediately think of Him as God."Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." The name "Immanuel" is a descriptive name and identifies Jesus as "God with us". This very clearly tells us that the baby that was born of a virgin in Bethlehem nearly 2,000 years ago was God coming in human flesh. That is why Paul wrote in his first letter to Timothy (3:16), "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." God was manifest in the flesh. That was Jesus before He was "received up into glory".
Blasphemous BiblesBut just like the "intellectual" and "scholarly" crowds of our day, there were people in Paul's day who called themselves "gnostics". They, too, thought they were too "smart" to accept this simple, Biblical testimony about Jesus. They called themselves "gnostics" taking their name from the Greek word for knowledge, "gnosis" (pronounced "no-sis").Gnostics believed themselves to have recieved a HIGHER knowledge (sort of like HIGHER education and HIGHER criticism). They reasoned in their minds that matter was evil, so there was no way that Jesus (as God) would ever actually become flesh. They dreamed up the idea that He was just an illusion and that people had only THOUGHT they had seen Jesus in the flesh. Gnostics in Alexandria, Egypt, made copies of Paul's letters and began changing the parts they didn't like. And, of course, they didn't like 1 Timothy 3:16 so they removed the word "God" and made it say simply, "He who was manifest in the flesh..." These copies were rejected by true Christians and as gnosticism died off, the false manuscripts were discarded. But several of these unused, unwanted manuscripts survived--sort of like the junk found in a person's basement. Junk survives because it is junk as it remains unused in a dry, dark basement. These corrupt manuscripts were later found in the 18th and 19th centuries. One was "discovered" in the Vatican library in Rome and is called Vaticanus. This is fitting since the Pope alive at the time of the Rapture will be revealed as the False Prophet of Revelation and lead the world to worship the Antichrist. Another gnostic corruption was discovered in an occultic monastery near traditional Mt. Sinai (called Saint Catherine's monestary). A German known as Count Tischendorf saw monks tearing leaves from an old scroll to be used to start fires in the cold dessert nights. He was able to get a look at it and found that it was a Greek manuscript containing Bible books and Apocryphal books together. And there were a few others. These Alexandrian manuscripts appeared just in time for the Apostasy taking place today. The new translations use these Alexandrian manuscripts. If you look at your new translations (NIV, New Living Translation, New American Standard, etc.), you will find that the Gnostic corruption of 1 Timothy 3:16 appears and the reference to Jesus being "God" is removed.
The Begotten "God"?Another Alexandrian corruption found in new bibles that attacks the truth about Jesus Christ is found in John 1:18 as published in the Amplified and New American Standard versions.Jesus is the "only begotten Son". That truth is simple enough and easy enough to understand. But the gnostics (both ancient and modern) cannot sit with such plain, simple truth. So the Alexandrian corruption was introduced, preserved in time and revived in the Vaticanus and Siniaticus manuscripts which BOTH call Jesus, "the only begotten God." Well-meaning Christians who seem to lack basic reasoning abilities have the misguided notion that introducing the word "God" into that phrase somehow bolsters the view that Jesus is, in fact, God. But the fact is exactly the OPPOSITE. If Jesus is a "begotten God", then He is not the ETERNAL God. The Watchtower Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) recognized this clear fact and immediately adopted this "new revelation" into their own New World Translation. The Watchtower Society teaches that Jesus is Michael the Archangel who BECAME a "god" and lived as Jesus while on earth. This explains why they also changed John 1:1 to read, "...and the Word was a god." John 1:18, as found in the New American, Amplified and New World Translations, fit neatly into the gnostic ideas about Jesus. According to this Satanic heresy, He came in a "spiritual" sense (not in FLESH) and was a "begotten God".
Need We Say More?Just this small amount of information should do more than enough to demonstrate that the new translations are a product of Satan. We are shocked that in this lukewarm period of the church age there seems to be such apathy about the corruption of God's word. But that's what makes it LUKEWARM.If you can read what we have shown you and continue to use new translations, you should seriously question whether or not you even know the Biblical Jesus. If you do, then why aren't you sensing the grief that such corruptions would cause to the Sprit of God. Is the Spirit of God in you? If you're a true Christian, the Spirit of God dwells in you. He grieves over the acceptance of this Satanic corruption of His word. Why aren't you grieved over this, if He actually does dwell in you?
The Biblical JesusWe are not saying that anyone who uses a new translation is unsaved. However, we are saying that it is possible that many ARE unsaved! And we would not be faithful to God if we didn't ask ALL new translation users to at least reflect on their faith and to ask the question, "What Jesus do I believe in?"A Jesus who did not come in the flesh is a person who could not die in the flesh and, therefore, could not have paid for the sin of the world. And a Jesus who is a "begotten God" couldn't be the eternal God and could NOT have paid the infinite price for sin, even if he DID come in the flesh. The Jesus of the new translations could not be SAVIOR of anyone. If you are a Bible Believer, we invite you to read our additional articles and get to know your Lord and Savior better.
