“What Does The Death of Jesus Have To Do With Me?”

Whether you realize it or not, you are in TROUBLE. You have sinned. For this reason, you must DIE.

But God loves you and wants to SAVE you from this death penalty that you have earned. As a matter of fact, God came to earth as a Man (1 Timothy 3:16 kjv) for this very purpose! Romans 5:8 tells us that, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

And THAT is what the death of Jesus has to do with YOU.

Can I ask you an honest question? Can you imagine standing before God the Father knowing that He sent His Son to die for you, because He loves you, and having to own up to the fact that you REJECTED this wonderful act of love. Can you imagine that?

If you go on rejecting Jesus Christ, you will have to face His Father and the Bible says that He will check a book called “The Book of Life” for your name. If your name is not in that Book, you will have to pay for your OWN sin. This means that you will be cast into a Lake of Fire. That may not sound pleasant and you may not want to believe it but that’s what the Bible SAYS. Read it.

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15 kjv)

That’s what the death of Jesus has to do with you. It has everything to do with your eternal destiny. I urge you, plead with you, to accept what Jesus Christ has done for you. He has paid the debt in full and calls out to you today to turn to Him for eternal salvation.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. “
Romans 10:9-11 kjv
