The Queen of Sheba: Did She Exist?

One of the accusations made against the Bible on a regular basis is that it contains historical falsehood. The idea is that unless we uncover some archaeological remains to prove that certain people or cities exist, then that particular person or place must be a "fairy tale".

You may or may not have heard this, but I have heard many times that the "Queen of Sheba" was a legendary tale. Some have claimed that this was actually a story lifted from some mythological source pre-dating the time of Israel's kings.

But that has all changed. WorldNetDaily.com reports:

"The queen of Sheba's palace at Axum in Ethiopia, purported to once have been the home of the Ark of the Covenant, has been found, archaeologists from the University of Hamburg report."

The skeptics, AGAIN, must revise their textbooks. Another baseless accusations falls at the turn of the archeaologists spade.

The discovery was made sometime between February and May of 2008.

Long live the Queen!

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. “
